Prices are catalogue ranges, not quotations
Every figure on this site is a catalogue price or a catalogue range, in US dollars, at the pack size stated, excluding shipping, handling, any hazardous-materials surcharge and any applicable tax. Each is printed with the date the figures were last reviewed.
They are published so that a department can build a realistic budget before telephoning. They are not an offer, not a quotation, and not a guarantee that a given item is in stock at a given price today. The figure that binds either of us is the one on a written quotation issued to you.
Five figures on this site are noted as current published unit prices. The rest are catalogue ranges for their class of item and may move with supply.
Specimens are natural material
A preserved specimen is an animal, not a manufactured part. Size bands are ranges and individuals within a band vary. Colour, condition, the exact course of a vessel and the size of an organ all vary between individuals of the same species, which is itself worth saying to a class.
Injection quality is high but is not uniform to a tolerance. A small vessel may be incompletely filled in an individual specimen. Where a specimen is unusable for the lesson it was bought for, the payment and refunds policy applies.
Living material is perishable
Cultures and live animals are alive when they leave us and their survival after that depends on transit, temperature at both ends, and handling on arrival. The published shipping window — Monday to Wednesday — exists to protect them, but no supplier can guarantee the condition of a living organism after it leaves their hands.
Lead times, ship dates and transit times are planning figures. Weather, carrier delays and the organism itself all move them.
Technical and teaching information
The descriptions on this site of injection grades, holding fluids, preparation, handling, storage and disposal are general information written to help a teacher specify an order sensibly. They are not laboratory safety advice for your specific room, your specific students or your specific jurisdiction.
Your institution’s own safety policy, your district’s rules, your state’s requirements and the current safety data sheet for any chemical you hold take precedence over anything written here. Where they disagree with this site, follow them.
No claims we cannot support
This site publishes no count of customers, no number of orders shipped, no satisfaction percentage, no award, no rating, no certification and no testimonial. Where a figure appears on this site it is a price, a measurement, a date or a count of catalogue items.
The one longevity claim made anywhere here is the founding year, 1982.
